GM on giving rentals to people affected by the recall

While it's possible a few drivers of recalled cars could end up in competitor's vehicles, Cain tells us "most if not all of them will have GM vehicles."

I'm pretty sure that with the way this is being handled, the last thing any of these owners want is another GM product to drive around in. Unless they handle this like they did the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! where they offer the customers any GM product in the range including ZR1 Corvettes, but they won't since these aren't EV early adopters, and there are a million times more of these people.

They should instead offer rentals in new Cadillac ATS or CTS offerings to maybe wet appetites.

Buicks also wouldn't be terrible. Just don't use Chevy for rentals.
